About me

My name is Nikola Strah and I live in central Germany close to a renowned universty city of Göttingen.

My mission is and has always been to use digital technologies to help people. However, it's not just about technology: In this process people are the key.

My career has taken me from my diploma in physics and astrophysics to my research career at the university in the field of simulations, high performance computing and data mining. After that, I went out of academia and have worked in engineering software, high performance computing, SaaS, cloud and Earth observation industry for more than 11 years, in different positions, from strategic account executive to sales director. 

I am continuing my mission to help people with technology, and am convinced that the Earth observation and geospatial business intelligence can have a great benefit to the humanity, being at the crossroads of data & computing, space  and sustainability. People first, and technology is there to help.
